Student Course Registration  
 
 


Course registration begins on April 22 for current Hilltoppers. Enrollment contracts must be returned before a student will be allowed to select classes. The materials needed to complete registration include(you can use the links on the left to print extra copies):

  • 2008-09 Course Description Book
  • Four-year Planning Sheet (for grades 9-11)
  • Course Request Form with course recommendations from teachers
  • Transcript copy (unofficial) (for grades 9-11)

             

The following are the steps in the registration process:

  1. Review next year's course description book and identify courses you will take.  There are changes and revisions, so pay attention.
  2. Upper School students should review their transcript and compare it to graduation and departmental requirements.  What courses do you need before graduation. Complete your "Four-year Planning Sheet." Review this sheet with your parents and get a parent signature (required). 
  3. Fill out the Course Request Form by listing all courses and accurate course numbers.   Have your parent(s) sign the worksheet. 
  4. Students in Grades 5-6-7 will receive registration materials in the mail.  Students in 8th grade will have materials distributed during a class meeting.  Upper school students will get there materials during a class advisory session. 
  5. Beginning the week of April 28th, students will meet individually with advisors to register.
    • 8th Grade students will meet with Ms. Snyder
    • 9th Grade students will meet with Mr. Hughes
    • 10th Grade students will met with Ms. Anderson
    • 11th Grade students will meet with Ms. Voller-Berdan

 

**Please note: If you have any questions as to why you were recommended to a certain class, please see your current teacher in that department.  They will clarify any questionable course recommendations.
