Wednesday, February 27: Letter of intent is due. This is a simple form which you need to have yourSenior Project Adviser sign.  This is not your class advisor.  This is a new advisor who would be willing to give you advise or guidance if you need it.  Normally, seniors rely very little on their Senior Project Advisors.  The form asks for information such as your name and e-mail address. Communication during the senior projects will be done via e-mail.

Tuesday, March 11: First draft of your proposals are due! Submit your proposals to Nate Mattson or Susan Nygaard. Your proposals will be returned to you with a critique within two weeks of this date. This is considered a rough draft but be careful not to be too rough! Most projects (all but 3 fit this category last year) will be returned with a request for a final draft. This is a strict deadline since we meet as a committee shortly after this date. Late proposals will not be accepted.

Friday, April 25: Final draft deadline. If your proposal was not initially approved, you can resubmit it by this date. You can also submit a completely new proposal but it will be held to the same standards as proposals being submitted for the second time. We do not recommend that you wait until this date to turn in a proposal for the first time. Again late proposals will not be accepted due to the fact that the senior project committee will not reconvene for a late proposal.

Friday, May 14 : Your teachers will submit grade reports for those of you participating in the senior projects verifying that you have a B average or above in all of your classes. You will receive notification in your mail box if you have remaining academic responsibilities.

Monday, May 19- Friday, May 31 : Seniors who are participating in the senior project are away from school.

Monday, June 2: Presentation Day The schedule for the presentations will be as follows. Family and friends are invited and encouraged to attend the presentations.

Thursday, June 5: Make-up presentation day. If you did not pass your presentation on Monday, June 2, then you will present again on this day.
