Tony Aspholm - Minneapolis South
Tony's children Jim, Rose and Martin have been part of the Minneapolis South program for five years. Tony has been instrumental in planning our Winter Break ski trip each year, making sure we had transportation, lodging, and food, often times spending hours making last minute plans as we chased the snow. He helps coach the younger skiers during these three day trips, and is a big reason why so many kids enjoy their skiing experience. He has taken kids on one day trips to Duluth, Cable and Ironwood early in seasons to get kids on snow. He has driven kids to Baker and Ripley to preview the section meets courses. He provides hot cider to cold kids after races. In addition, he has worked with the Minneapolis Youth Ski League (MYSL) since his kids were little. and thereby has connections to many of the Nordic Ski programs in the Minneapolis Area.
